We highly recommend keeping default settings for the options below. If you want to override the default settings, you must first uncheck the Use Default Settings checkbox below. To keep the default settings click Next. |
Use Default Settings |
Clearing the Master Boot Record(MBR) during creation of an Array is the default setting. If you choose not to clear MBR, uncheck the Clear Master Boot Record check box below. Not clearing MBR may not preserve the data in any usable form, and may cause system instability and other undesirable effects. |
Clear Master Boot Record |
By default MediaShield does not initialize the Array. Initializing the Array erases the existing disk data including the MBR. Initialization takes very long and the Array may not be accessible until it is fully Initialized. If you choose to Initialize the Array, check the Initialize Array check box below. |
Initialize Array |
This is the final step of the MediaShield Setup Wizard.

If no data is being preserved, then the new array must be partitioned and formatted before it can be used for storage. Please refer to the section on Disk Management in your system's Help and Support Center. |
To create the array, click Finish.
